Make songs with Grok Bot.
Grok Bot gives you AI teammates that keep working on their own cloud computers. Connect Neume and a Bot can make songs with vocals and music videos, and send them on their own: a birthday song on the morning of the birthday, a new track every Friday, a jingle for every new product.
Can Grok Bot make music?
Grok Bot can write lyrics and plan a song, but it needs a music app to turn them into a finished song with vocals. Neume is that app. A Bot connects to Neume's MCP server, and then it can make songs and music videos as part of any job you give it.
Because a Bot keeps running when your laptop is closed, it can also make music on a schedule: a weekly track for a newsletter, a jingle for every new product, or a birthday song on the day. Grok Bot is different from Grok, the chat assistant. To make songs in a Grok chat, see Make songs in Grok.
What your Bot can do with Neume.
The same engine and prices as the Neume app. Your Bot checks with you before anything that uses credits, as you set it up to.
Make a song
Describe it or paste your lyrics. Your assistant writes the words with you, shows them to you, and makes the song when you're happy.
Change one part
New words for a verse or chorus, sung again in the same voice. The melody and the rest of the song stay as they are.
Reimagine it
The whole song again in a new style, like an acoustic ballad or a 1980s funk track. Your original is kept.
Make a music video
A scene you describe, set to part of a song, 4 to 30 seconds. A video that fails gives its credits back.
Make music on a schedule
Set up a routine and the Bot makes a song every week, or whenever something happens, and sends you the link.
Its own account
The Bot can sign up for Neume itself and buy credits with an agent wallet, within the limits you set.
Songs that show up on the day.
Give your Bot a date or an event once, and it makes the song and sends it then. Sending to someone else uses an app you've connected to your Bot, like email or Slack. Ask it to show you each song first if you'd like to check it.
Birthday songs
A song made for that person, with their name and the things they love, sent on their birthday morning.
"On my mom's birthday, March 12, make her a happy birthday song with Neume that mentions her garden, and email it to her at 8 am."
Anniversaries
A new love song every year, sent to you first so you can listen before you share it.
"Every year on June 3, make a new love song for Sam with Neume about the year we just had, and send it to me first."
Team birthdays
A birthday song for each teammate, posted in your team chat on the day.
"When someone's birthday comes up in our team calendar, make them a birthday song with Neume and post it in our Slack channel."
A weekly track
A new song every week for a newsletter, a podcast or a stream, ready before it goes out.
"Every Friday at 5 pm, make a lo-fi track for my newsletter with Neume and send me the link."
Product jingles
A jingle for each new product, made as soon as it's added to your store.
"When a new product is added to our store, make a jingle for it with Neume and send it to me."
Holiday songs for clients
A holiday song for each client, with drafts ready for you to send.
"In mid-December, make a holiday song for each of our clients with their company name, and draft an email for each one for me to review."
Connect Neume to your Bot.
Use your own Neume account, so songs land in your library, or let the Bot run its own. Either way, start a chat with the Bot and ask.
With your Neume account
Recommended- 1In a chat with your Bot, ask it to add Neume's MCP server, using the URL below.
- 2Sign in with your Neume account when it asks.
- 3Ask for a song. Everything it makes is saved to your Neume library and the app.
https://api.neume.io/v1/mcpWith the Bot's own account
- 1Paste the message below to your Bot. It reads Neume's agent skill, signs up for its own account and connects.
- 2The account starts with 0 credits. Tell the Bot which credit pack to buy, and pay with a Link agent wallet with a spending limit you choose.
- 3All the details are on Neume for AI agents.
Read https://neume.io/.well-known/agent-skills/neume/SKILL.md and save it as a skill called Neume.
Then sign up for your own Neume account with it,
keep the API key secret,
and add Neume's MCP server with it. Don't buy credits until I say how much.Songs made this way belong to the Bot's account, not your Neume library. The Bot shares them as links.
No Neume account yet? Sign up at app.neume.io, then connect.
Copy one into your chat
"Write a short country song about moving to a new city and make it with Neume."
"Make an acoustic version of my latest Neume song, then a 10-second music video set to its chorus."
"Change the chorus of my latest Neume song so it's about the beach."
"How many Neume credits do I have left, and what did I make this week?"
Frequently asked
questions.
What is Grok Bot?
Grok Bot is xAI's app for always-on AI teammates called Bots. Each Bot has its own cloud computer, remembers how you like things done, and keeps working when your laptop is closed. It's included with X Premium, Super and Ultra, and with paid Cursor plans.
Is this the same as Neume in Grok?
No. Grok is the chat assistant at grok.com, where you add Neume as a connector (see Make songs in Grok). Grok Bot is a separate app where Bots work on their own and can add Neume's MCP server themselves.
How much does it cost?
Neume's tools use Neume credits: 1 for a new song, 1 to change part of a song, 2 to reimagine a song, and 1 credit a second plus 1 for a music video. Checking songs and credits is free. Grok Bot's own usage comes from your xAI or Cursor plan.
Can a Bot make songs on a schedule?
Yes. Ask your Bot to set up a routine, like every Friday at 5 pm. A routine can also start from an event, like a new email or a webhook. Each song it makes uses credits.
Can my Bot send a birthday song automatically?
Yes. Tell it the date and who the song is for, and it sets up a routine that makes the song with Neume on the day and sends it, by email or another app you've connected to your Bot. If you'd rather check each song first, ask it to send it to you for approval before it goes out.
Can the Bot pay for credits itself?
Yes, if you set it up with its own Neume account. It buys credit packs over MPP, paying with a Link agent wallet, and you decide how much it can spend without asking. With your own account, you buy credits in the Neume app.
Where do the songs go?
With your Neume account, every song and video is saved to your library, so it's in the Neume app and on app.neume.io. With the Bot's own account, they're in that account and the Bot sends you links.
Can I use the songs commercially?
Original songs you make with Neume are yours, including for commercial use. If you start from audio you didn't make, changing or remixing it doesn't give you rights to it.
