Can Claude make music?
Claude writes lyrics, verses and hooks well, but a finished song with vocals takes a music app. Add Neume as a connector and Claude can make the real thing: it writes the lyrics with you, shows them to you, and Neume makes the song when you're happy with them. It usually takes about a minute.
Connectors are how Claude uses outside services. Neume's connector uses MCP, the open standard Claude supports, so there's nothing to install in claude.ai or the Claude app. You add one URL and sign in.

Can Claude make music?

How do I add Neume to Claude?
In claude.ai or the Claude app, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Neume and enter https://api.neume.io/v1/mcp. Press Connect and sign in with your Neume account.
How much does it cost?
Neume's tools use your Neume credits: 1 for a new song, 1 to change part of a song, and 2 to reimagine a whole song. Playing and listing your songs is free. Claude checks with you before anything that uses credits.
Can I change just one line?
Yes. Ask Claude to change a line or press Change lyrics on the song card. Neume sings that part again in the same voice, and the melody and the rest of the song stay as they are. Each change makes a new song, so your original is kept.
Can I attach a hum or a recording?
Not in Claude yet. Turning attached audio into a song works in ChatGPT, because ChatGPT is the assistant that passes files to connected apps. In Claude you can make, change and reimagine songs.
Where do my songs go?
Every song is saved to your Neume account, so you'll find it in the Neume app and on app.neume.io. On the song card, More → Open in Neume takes you straight to it.
Can I use the songs commercially?
Original songs you make with Neume are yours, including for commercial use. Changing the lyrics of a song doesn't give you rights to it if someone else owns it.
